Measurement for putting rails for a kingpin hitch in a 2005 F 150 super crew with a 5 1/2 foot bed

When installing a semi-custom fifth wheel rail kit in your 2005 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed like the Reese Kit part # RP30035-426 the rear edge of the rear rail needs to be placed 29-5/16 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed. Once that rail is placed the front rail is placed with a fifth wheel hitch. Basically you'd put the rear legs of the hitch in the rear rail and then wherever that places the front rail is where it needs to install.
