Recommended Mounting Plate for a Vehicle Winch on 2016 ATC Open Trailer

Question:

Need expertise on the best type of mount for a heavy duty car/truck winch on a 2016 ATC Open Trailer 20 footer . The preferred method would be to mount it onto the V behind the hitch ... or what would be the best aftermarket solution here? Thanks,

Easiest way will be to use the winch plate mount part # BDW20291 that you mentioned but attach it to the floor of the trailer at the very front to a crossmember of the frame.

To mount in the V area of the A-frame is possible but it would require quite a bit of modification ot the trailer.
