Question:
I have a brand new 2018 Grand Design 220RK fifth wheel. Id like to replaceinch the stock brake/tail lights with ones you sell. Im talking about removing the brake/tail lights it came with and installing yours instead. Is this possible? Or are yours designed to only work in addition toinch the factory brake/tail lights? Here is the model you sell:STL79RB

You can absolutely remove the factory tail lights and replace them with a style you prefer like the Sealed, Streamline LED Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, 3-Function, 11 Super Diodes # STL79RB. These are designed to be used as a replacement light and not simply an additional light, but they can be used for either purpose. I've attached a video of this installation for you to assist.
There is an optional chrome base used only for the look that works with this light. It is # A79CB and is a purely aesthetic option that does not alter the function at all.
If you need to seal holes where the other lights were mounted, you can use a silicone sealant like # 0160297 or a gasket sealant like # LT37467 to keep water and debris out.
