Can MaxxAir MaxxFan # MA00A04401K Mount to 1 inch Thick Roof on Camper

Question:
I have a pop up camper and the roof is less than 1inch thick. Is there a fan that works or can I modify the MaxxAir fan by cutting down the inner trim piece?

The garnishes of the roof vents like the MaxxAir MaxxFan # MA00A04401K can easily be cut down to fit a 1 inch thick roof if needed. This is a very common modification needed so you'd have no problem with it.
