Question:
I am needing a wiring adapter for a 97 Dodge Ram for a Tekonosha Primus IQ brake controller. I have the controller, I need the wire from the factory plug to the controller. I havent found the connection at the back of the truck for the connection. Do you have any ideas where I could find it?

The brake controller install harness you'd need for installing a Tekonsha brake controller # TK90160 in your 1997 Dodge Ram is the part # 3020-P if you have the factory 7-way at the rear of the truck.
Since it sounds like you do not have any trailer wiring on your truck you'll need to start with a 4-way # 118329.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
