Replacement Trailer Hub for Tandem Axle 1987 Ranger Boat Trailer

Question:

I am looking for a 1987 Ranger boat tandem axle trailer front wheel hub, not the rotor. It is a 1-3/8 x 1-1/16 tapered spindle using L44649/L44110 outer bearing/race and L68149/L68110 lnner bearing/race. The seal is 168233 1.68”inner and 2.33”outer. It has 5 lugs.

I was not able to reference your outer race " L44110", however I believe the race you have is L44610 which would be correct for a L44649 outer bearing. In addition to the outer race, the grease seal number and dimension you gave do not match the bearing/race listed above. It is possible that either the wrong seal was installed or the dimensions have changed as the correct seal for the above bearings/races is a 58846 seal which has a 1.719" inner and 2.565" outer diameter.

With that being said, it sounds like you have a #84 spindle for which I would recommend part # AKIHUB-545-35-K for replacement. This hub has a L68149/L68111 inner bearing/race, L44649/L44610 outer bearing/race, and a 58846 grease seal. This will be your best option for replacment.
