To add a 4 pole trailer connector to your S-10, I'd recommend the Curt T-Connector, part # C55312.

This custom-fit harness plugs into your Chevrolet S-10 Pickup's wiring harness, which is located beneath your vehicle, along the driver's-side frame rail.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your Chevrolet S-10 Pickup, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket # 18144 is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease # 11755 on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
