Question:

I have a 1994 four winns sure load boat trailer with 15in 6 bolt steel rims tires are st225/r15. Will the am3s870 work. The axle load is about 3800 pounds.

Although the Loadstar Wheel and Tire Combo you referenced, part # AM3S870 would work well for you, had you considered going with the radial equivalent, part # AM32664? Both the bias-ply and the radial are rated at 2,540 lbs per tire.

Radial tires generally run cooler, which will lead to longer tire life.

For maximum tire life, be sure to keep tires inflated to the maximum psi as recommended by the tire manufacturer, which in the case of these tires is 65psi.

I have a 1990 fourwinns horizon boat and trailer with 6 bolt pattern wheels. The tires are 225/75 r15. The tires are too tall. The trailer sits too high making boat launch more difficult. I would like smaller diameter trailer tires. Do you have a rim tire set with at least a 25 inch diameter.

Your 225/75-15 tires have an outside diameter of 28.3 inches. You said 6-bolt pattern. I assume this is a 6-On-5-1/2" pattern. I have attached a document that shows how to measure the bolt pattern. If you can come up with the bearing numbers or measurements we can consider replacing the hubs for a smaller bolt pattern, although that might be costly. Can you lower your bunk boards or something like that?
