Question:

I have with trailer hooked up .I have no numbers. put a new battery in about 2 months ago. dont use this trailer often, dont think i used it since battery was installed. this unit worked when I originally hook it up. thank you

It sounds like your Curt Triflex # C24VV has a power wire short or an inline fuse or circuit breaker issue when you changed your battery. I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the power wire (black wire) on your controller to ensure you have power coming to your controller. Next check your (white) ground wire to ensure connection.

I've attached the installation details for you to check the codes on your brake controller and have also attached some articles to assist in troubleshooting. If the controller has power and a good ground, I recommend doing a bench test on the unit to ensure it doesn't have an internal function issue.
