Question:

Hey there, Im looking into my options to mount a rack of some sort to the rear of my 2017 Jayco Jay Feather x19h. There are a series of pre drilled holes in the frame but they dont seem to align to the Curt rv hitch. Currently I am researching what the warranty implications would be if i was to drill into the frame from Jayco. I would prefer to use something that aligned to the existing holes. The rack doesnt have to be removable or folding, just strong eough to hold 200 lbs. Ideally I would like to have a cargo box with room for generator and fire wood. Thanks,

Our best option would be the Curt Adjustable Hitch, # 13703. This hitch will bolt or weld to the trailer frame and provide a more secure receiver for a cargo carrier. It is also recommended that a stabilization strap, # 18050, be used with all non-trailer loads. This hitch will give you a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs.

You'd have to check with Jayco though to see if they have a warranty issues with installing a hitch like this.

The Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier part # CC-100 is approved for use behind an RV like what you have. This has a 500 lb capacity.
