In order to install a 4- and 7-Way trailer connector on your 2017 Jeep Cherokee you will first need to install a 4-Way using # 118605. I have included a link that shows an example installation of this wiring harness for you.
Once that is installed you can then install # ETBC7 which will add the 7-Way, retain the 4-Way, and provide the wiring to install a brake controller if you need one. For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you. There isn't a plug-in 4- and 7-Way for Cherokees unless they already came with a 7-Way connector from the factory.
