Can 2 C45796 be coupled together to create a 36inch extender?

I do have options for you but you cannot install two of part # C45796 together to get a total of 36". Doing so would completely diminish your trailer hitches weight capacity.
The most cost effective solution I have for you would be to use part # RP45292 for 24"-34". However, this option is only 34" max lenth and will require a 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15860.
The best solution I have for you to get a 36" hitch extension would be to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension part # TLE1536. This extender will require the use of a specialized hitch like the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLC1212 for short beds (6-1/2') or part # TLC1211 for long beds (8').
