Question:
Hi! I need some help selecting the proper hitch extension and weight distribution option. I have a 2011 GMC 3500 DRW. I will need a 42” extension to haul a 5000-7000lb trailer. I was looking at the torklift supertruss. Would thos work? Can I use it with my existing hitch? What weight distribution kits are available? I would also like to be able to hall a motorcyle or scooter on a hitch carrier. Cycles run between 500-600 pounds.

To use a SuperTruss Hitch Extender part # TLE1542 which has a 42 inch length and tow a trailer that weighs 5,000 to 7,000 you'd have to have the Torklift Superhitch part # TLC1208 installed on your 2011 GMC Sierra 3500.
Then you'd have to use a weight distribution too like the Reese part # RP66541.
