Question:
Ive got a 2008 dodge ram 2500 pick up truck 4x4 with already towing package, im having issues where now the trailer doesnt light up at all, verified the fuse and its good, so it seems it could be the cable it self but prior to buying anything i wanted you to confirm what is the actual part number for such replacement? thanks

If the vehicle side trailer plug is the issue, you can use the Tekonsha Multi-Plug T-One Connector Assembly for 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 20135 as a replacement. If the trailer side is the issue, you can use the 7-Way Molded Trailer Plug with Junction Box # HS381-9000.
To determine which side is needing to be replaced, you can use the circuit tester # PTW2993 to test the pins for proper function. You can also clean the connections on either side and use some dielectric grease # 11755 to help with the connections. This will allow the electricity to flow but will keep moisture and debris out to keep the connections from corrosion.
