The MaxxFan Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00A04301K that you referenced is designed to be operated with the switch that is built into the base assembly.
You might be better off with the Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent # V2119-1-533 which has the wall switch setup that comes with it.
