Question:
Need axle and hub replacement parts for a Yachtclub 10X101 aluminum tilt snowmobile trailer

Expert Reply:
For a replacement standard axle you will need to measure your hub face and spring center distances and choose an axle that has the same measurements and is rated properly.
For example, the Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes # e43SR is rated for 3,500 lbs and has a hub face measurement of 89" and 74" for the spring center measurement (see attached picture).
I have attached a link to our selection of axles for you to filter through for your decision. This link also includes our Timbren Axle-Less selection like part # A35RS545E rated for 3,500 lbs. The Axle-Less systems take all of the measuring out of the equation, but since they install on the trailer frame they may not be compatible with your aluminum trailer.
I recommend checking with your trailer manufacturer about drilling into the trailer frame. If you can then I highly recommend the Timbren selection as they also help to increase ground clearance.
