hitch upgrade for 2007 toyota tundra extended cab 4x4

Question:
I need a hitch upgrade for a 2007 Toyota tundra 5.7 extended cab 4x4. Can I take the factory one off and install this # C15398 unit in its place.

I wish that were possible, but Curt says it's not because the factory hitch is welded and part of the chassis.
