Expert Reply:
We offer electric drum brakes in many axle capacities including 2K and 3K, but none specifically rated for 2500-lb axles. Typically a 2K axle will use 7 x 1-1/4-inch brakes like # AKEBRK-2 while a 3K axle will usually take 10 x 1-1/2-inch brakes. Once you move to a 3500-lb axle the brake size increases to 10 x 2-1/4-inches, such as part # AKEBRK-35-SA.
Based on your bearings, part # L44649, you have a 2K axle. Hub/drums that have your bolt pattern and that use this bearings are shown on the linked page.
You axle should have a sticker or plate that indicates its weight rating to allow you to select the correct brakes.
If you are installing these brakes on a trailer that never had brakes before you can refer to the linked article for great help on the things to consider and the items you will need to make this trailer upgrade. For a brake controller I highly recommend the Prodigy P2 # 90885 for its reliable operations and superior performance.
