The important measurement for cargo carriers to determine fit is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier. This will tell you how much clearance the carrier requires. On Curt Cargo Carrier, # C18151, when it is in the down position it measures 16-1/4 inches from hitch pin hole center to the carrier.
You will want to measure your Jeep from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the distance required to clear the rear of the vehicle. Normally on a Jeep, it is the rear mounted spare tire that sticks out the furthest. If you get a measurement less than 16 inches, the carrier will fit when in the down position.
This carrier also folds up. When folded up, it measures only 3 inches from hitch pin hole center to the rack. In all likelihood, the spare tire would interfere.
The carrier with the most clearance when folded up is the Draw-Tite Carrier, # 6502. It measures 7-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole center when folded up, and 13 inches when folded down. I have included links to the installation details and links to video reviews for both of these carriers for you to view.
