Can the Cover Push the Button On the etrailer Cam Buckle Cinch Straps

Question:
From the video it appears that putting the neoprene cover over the buckle would depress the button and release the strap. Is this not the case? Looks fantastic, btw.

In regards to the etrailer Cam Buckle Cinch Straps part # E98876-4, the neoprene cover will not be able to apply enough force to disengage the latch.
