Going to use 9400 Roadmaster even brake on my 2017 Equinox. I installed the Hopkins HM 56108 tail light kit. Do i need the 88400 brake light relay too?

Yes, the Brake-Lite Relay # RM-88400 referenced in your question, which is actually included with the Roadmaster Even Brake System # RM-9400, will need to be installed with your Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # HM56108. The relay is needed to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when you are braking during a turn.
