I just got a semi fat/plus size mountain bike 3 inch tires and I was wondering if this part would fit on my Thule Criterium roof carrier to transport that bike. If not, are there any other adapter options without replacing the carrier? If I do need to replace a carrier, are there options that will fit on my Thule aeroblade bars? Thanks!

I can only confirm that Fat Tire Adapter Kit # TH5981 fits the Thule ProRide bike rack 598003. I wish I had better news for you. There are some roof mount bike racks that are designed for fat bike use such:
