Question:
I currently have a 2011 R_POD 177. Over the weekend experienced my first blow out. IT currently has 205/75r 14 load range c on it. Im looking to upgrade to a 15 load range d. the dry weight of the camper is 2500lbs. Would this be overkill with going to D rated? Im looking at part # AM32424

The Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Black Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D # AM32424 will work on your 2011 R-Pod 177. It will be a stronger tire with a load capacity of 2150 lbs at 65 psi. This will give you an 8 ply rating instead of the 6 ply rating of your previous tires. As long as you have the additional space for the larger tire and the travel needed for suspension, it will work well for you. You want about 2 inches above your tire for suspension travel when loaded and about 3 inches when unloaded. The load rating will give you a slightly more rigid ride to your trailer, but it will also give you the additional sidewall strength.
You always want to run your trailer tires at their max psi when filled cold (prior to trip).
