Question:
I need to order replacement equalizers and a bolt/shackle kit, however I am reluctant to order because I am unsure of how to properly measure them. The trailer is a tandem axle equipment trailer with dexter axles. The bolts on the shackles are 3 1/4inch apart, the equalizer bolts are 5inch from the outer bolt to the center bolt. These measurements are bolt center to bolt center. The bolts are 1/2inch in diameter. Any help would be appreciated.

Best option we have would be the part # APT5 which comes with equalizers that have outer bolts that are 5-3/4 inches apart on center which would be close enough to work in your application. The shackle straps are 2-1/4 inches long and the bolts are 9/16 inch which is the standard diameter for trailer suspension bolts.
