Recommended Trailer for Towing a 200cc Trike and a 200cc Cycle

Published 09/15/2017

Question:

We have a 2017 Coachhouse Platinum RV with a Ford E-450 Super Duty chassis. We want to tow 2 cycles one being a trike instead of towing a car. Do you have a trailer that would work for this? Towing a 200cc trike and a 200cc cycle.

We have a trailer that will work for your application. I recommend the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer - 7-1/2' Long - 1,640 lbs # K2MMT5X7. This trailer has removable side panels to make loading easy and help if width is an issue. Because they are smaller cycles, they will have no problem fitting in this trailer that has a bed that is 88" long x 52" wide and 136 inches long with the tailgates down. The front tailgate can hole 250 lbs static weight and the rear 100 lbs.

For easiest loading because this is a tight fit, I recommend removing the panels as needed and then putting them in place once loaded and securing the loads with tie downs. This trailer has a tilt function for easy loading of the first vehicle.

I recommend the Motorcycle Soft Loops # 06303 along with the Erickson Ratcheting Motorcycle Tie-Down Straps w Long Safety Hooks - 1"x6' # EM05710 to secure your bikes.
