Question:
Can I replace the stock brake controller in my 2007 Ford F350 with another OEM brake controller with out taking the truck to the dealer to clear the code??

If you have access to another OEM brake controller, I don't believe you will need to take the truck to the dealer to clear the code. Since you are not changing the way the computer sees the unit, it should clear its own code and start functioning correctly. When you add an aftermarket controller like # 90195 for superior performance, the dealer needs to be seen because you are not running the brake controller through the same system so it needs to be disabled to function correctly. I've attached an article on this to help further.
