What Does Yellow Light on Lid of Hopkins Engager Indicate

Question:

Product Hopkins engaged breakaway kit. After installation with trailer plugged into tow vehicle the yellow charging light continues to stay on will it change to a green light after it is fully charged?

The Hopkins Engager # 20099 has a lid on it that displays the current status of the battery.

When it is plugged in and charging it will be yellow at all times. When you hit the test button it will either then turn to green indicating it is fully charged or red indicating it is in need of charging.
