On a wheel, offset is where the wheel mounting surface is relative to the center line of the wheel. Back spacing is the distance from the mounting surface to the outer edge of the wheel. So if the wheel you have now is 5 inches wide with a 3 inch back space then that would make the offset -2 inches.

If 5 inches is the width stated somewhere on the wheel then it is not the overall width. The overall width will be approximately 1 inch greater than the listed width. If you take that into consideration then the overall wheel width of your wheel could be 6 inches and with a 3 inch back space that would mean the wheel has a zero offset.

I bring this up because none of the 15 inch aluminum wheels we carry have an offset. The mounting surface for all of them is in the dead center of the wheel. We have a lot of 15 inch aluminum wheels, see link below. They come in 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt patterns and 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt patterns.

A 205/75-15 trailer tire can be used on a 5 or 6 inch wheel but preferably you will want to go with the more narrow 5 inch options. The issue is that most of the 5 inch wide options are rated under the 2,100 minimum you are looking for. But wheel # AM20456 is rated for 2,150 pounds and it is 5 inches wide with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. It is the only 15x5 inch wheel that is rated high enough. Otherwise you will need to go with a 15x6 inch wheel.
