Expert Reply:
Bargain-priced import trailers often use lower-grade parts that tend to wear out faster than better aftermarket products. This is as true for wiring items like your 4-pole harness as it is for other mechanical parts like bearings. We can help.
For a replacement trailer-side 4-pole connector only that you can splice to your existing wiring you can use the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Fix Replacement 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM48192.
If you prefer a connector with wiring we have many styles and length to choose from on the linked page, for instance part # 54000-026, which has a coiled cord. You'll use butt connectors # DW05744-5 and dielectric grease # 11755 to make those spliced connections.
