When installing the brackets for the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17501 referenced in your question, they can be mounted to the frame between 28-1/2 inches and 31-1/2 inches from the center of the ball hole. This gives you a little wiggle room if you happen to have anything along the frame that might interfere with the bracket location.
This is a very nice system that will evenly distribute weight over the axles of your trailer and tow vehicle for added stability and control. It features integrated sway control that will limit side to side movement of the trailer. This system has a tongue weight capacity of 1,000 to 1,500 pounds. You will just want to ensure that your total tongue weight falls comfortably within this range. Your total tongue weight will include both the loaded tongue weight of your trailer (as if ready for a trip) and any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. You can use a scale like the etrailer # e99044 to verify your trailer's loaded tongue weight.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this weight distribution system for you to check out.
