I Cannot Get My Swagman Lock # P1040 To Unlock

Question:
cant get the knob lock on my swagman unlocked. I have locked and unlocked previously but cant get it to unlock. I turn the key and it doesnt move. Turn the other direction and it goes in circles. What am I doing wrong thanks,,,,,,,,,,

I contacted our representative at Swagman about the Swagman Locking Knob, part # P1040. The representative at Swagman informed that to unlock the lock, you must turn the key 180 degrees. When you are turning the key the other direction and it just spins, this indicates that the lock is still locked.
