Question:
I have a 2014 Rockwood Freedom popup tent trailer and im looking for a way to haul a 100qt cooler outside of the camper. There isnt enough room at the front by the propane tank to use one of your double hitch things. Was wondering about a hitch mounted to my rear bumper and attach a rack to it. However my bumper is only 1.25in x 3inch. Any suggestions? I pull with an SUV

I recommend installing a trailer hitch receiver on your pop-up camper and then using a cargo carrier that has a long enough shank to clear your bumper.
You can use the Curt # C13701 for a frame that it 18 - 51 inches wide, but if your frame is wider than 55 inches you will want to go with the Curt # 13703 instead. Both of these options have a 2 inch hitch receiver and can be installed with a bolt-on or weld-on application. Part # C13701 has a Tongue Weight (TW) of 500 lbs and part # 13703 has a TW of 350 lbs. You will want to check the owner's manual for your pop-up to see if there are any specifications about adding a hitch receiver.
For a cargo carrier I recommend the Curt 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18152 which is rated for 500 lbs. From the center of the hitch pin hole of the trailer hitch receiver to the closest part of this carrier is 11-1/4 inches.
As long as your cooler doesn't exceed any weight capacities this setup is a great option. If you do not have any bungees cords I would recommend cords like these: # EM06658 36" and # EM06668 42" depending on the lengths you will need to secure the cooler.
