Question:

Hello! I just got am leasing a new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I current have an existing Yakima cargo box and snowboard rack from a previous Yakima setup. I am looking to install a new Yakima Aero system on the new Jeep but am a little confused on what mounts to buy. The Jeep currently has the vertical tracks on both sides no cross bars. The track looks to have a deep groove to accept a mounting attachment but when I look at some of the Yakima products it looks like it would want me to remove the existing track which looks to be screwed and riveted in. I am sure you have seen this before, but I have attached photos as well as I am confused about my options. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the pictures of the rails of your 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. What you have is the Group E rails so the Yakima Aero bar roof rack you would need is the # Y00425, # Y53TR, and # Y00244.
