when using the road master tow dolly on a 2015 Kia Soul with automatic transmission and front wheel drive are you adding miles to the odometer while in tow?

With the front wheels off the ground and on the tow dolly like part # RM-2050-1, the odometer will not advance.
The speedometer is connected to the front wheels.
