Question:
what is the proper size of bow roller for my trailer/boat? how do you determine this? 99foot Mariah shabah 238 cuddy. I need to replace the one I have as it doesnt touch the sides, it just lets it small into the bow causing damage

Expert Reply:
Many rollers will not touch on the sides at the bow. This is roller that is used more as a cushion. Using a smaller roller like the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers - Galvanized Steel and Black Rubber - 4" # CE10400G may help to have more contact. It sounds like you may be interested in a Y-style bow stop like the Yates Y-Style Bow Stop for Boat Trailers - Heavy-Duty Rubber - 4" Span - 3/8" Shaft # YR4Y22-3. I've linked the page to all your options.
