Difference Between Duct vs Non-Duct RV Air Conditioner Units

Question:
What is the difference between a duct vs non duct air conditioner? And which is the best for this type of trailer, 1995 United 7foot -6inch W x 24foot L x 80H enclosed trailer. Im good with the 15,000 BTU air/heat, Im just no clear on the duct and non-duct description. Second question... Do I need a installation kit for mounting, the trailer I have does not have an air conditioning unit on it today? Thanks,

Non-ducted AC units just blow the air out of the bottom part of the unit. While the ducted style are what you would use in a motorhome with multiple ducts in the ceiling. The duct style is designed to match up with the ducts of an RV that distribute air throughout.
Since your RV doesn't have an AC unit there won't be duct work so you would need a non-ducted kit like the part # ACM150CH. This comes with everything needed to install.

I bought a Coleman Mach 3 non-duct unit but I needed a duct unit. Is there a way to add it to the duct system?
