Recommended Dual Motor Electric Stabilizer For 2015 Forest River Surveyor

Updated 06/28/2017 | Published 06/27/2017

Question:

Hello Im trying to decide between the 30 or 22 for my trailer. We own a 2015 Forest River Surveyor my frame distance to ground is 18 1/2 and frame width is 68 1/2 wide, if I have this figured out right the 22 will have only 3 until they are straight up/down, and the 30 will have around 11 1/2 until it will be straight up/down. We dont always have level ground to park on as most of the camping is in rural camp sites not in RV type camp grounds. In your opinions which would be the better ion the 30 or 22. The second picture is the hitch system that we purchased in 2015 and its keeps trailer stable and straight. Thank You part # UF39-941705 30 and # UF39-941707 22

Helpful Expert Reply:

The Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer for Trailers and RVs - 22" Lift - 6,000 lbs # UF39-941707 is a great product, but will only give you 3 inches of lift as you mentioned. That would be enough if you were always camping on level or close to level ground. Based on the information you gave about where you camp, I highly recommend going with the Ultra-Fab Power Twin II Electric Stabilizer with Dual Motors - 30" Lift - 6,000 lbs # UF39-941705. This will give you the additional leveling length that will most likely be needed for your 2015 forest River Surveyor.
