Can Auto Latch of Demco Trailer Coupler # DM14040-81 Be Operated with Pin Lock In Place

Question:

Hi, will the auto-lock engage when meeting the ball, when there is a pin lock inserted through the hole for the lock?

If you had a pin lock inserted in the coupler part # DM14040-81 that you referenced it would not auto-latch onto the hitch ball. The latch portion would not be able to slide up to let the ball pass. If you check out the picture I attached you can see that the pin hole would prevent that.
