Ref 2 bolt demco hardware kit. Which side of the bolt does the washer go?

Hi Robert,

When you're installing the Demco 2-Bolt Channel Mount Coupler Hardware Kit part # DM68UV, the washer will go onto the threaded end once the bolt is put through the frame and the lock nut tightened down onto the washer. I've included a photo showing the washer placement for reference.

Good question; the bolts in the Hardware Kit for Demco Adjustable Channel Mount Couplers #DM6166 should be torqued to 150 lb-ft during install of a Demco coupler like #DM14040-81 to a bracket like #DM66134.

A little bit of play between the coupler and the channel is normal. As long as the bolts are properly torqued, the play won't damage or harm anything. We've confirmed this with our channel mount coupler manufacturers like Bulldog and Titan.
