In order to determine if this cargo carrier, # e98874, will clear the rear of your 2011 Acura MDX, there is an important measurement you will need to take. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the distance required to clear the rear of the vehicle. If this distance is less that 19-1/2 inches, the carrier will fit in the down position. If it is less than 9-1/2 inches, the carrier will fit in the folded up position. If your measure is 9-1/2 inches or greater, the carrier will not fit in the folded up position. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier for reference.
