Troubleshooting Trailer Jacks that Make a Clicking Noise

Question:
Need to know why our jacks click endlessly on our brand new Cedar Creek Hathaway? What would fix this irritation sound that goes constantly?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Other than the clicking sound is the landing gear functioning properly? Usually, when someone says they have clicking the jacks are either working slowly or not at all.
Check the connection of the ground wire on the motor and make sure it's grounded well. Also, test the battery the jack runs off of. A lot of jack issues stem from a bad ground or weak battery just not having the power to run it properly.
The other things that could be going on is the screw or gears could be bad but if the jacks are new this is less likely.
Also, of course make sure you aren't overloading the weight capacity of the jacks.
