Question:

I have a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder with factory side rails. They are very tall so trying to find a cross rail system to fit has been a challenge. I purchased a Thule Complete Crossroad package that their fit guide said would fit a Pathfinder, but it did not. The straps fully extended came up about 1/2inch short. I was just on your site and saw the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack - 2012 Nissan Pathfinder. This looks similar to how the Thule straps worked. Do you know if these straps are definitely long enough to fit around the factory rails? Please let me know. Thank you.

According to Inno, the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack part # INB117 and part # INFR is a compatible fit for your 2012 Nissan Pathfinder, assuming you have factory side rails.

I called my representative at Thule and they informed me that the Thule Crossroad Roof Mounted Roof Railing Foot Pack part will fit side rails up to 3" in diameter. The most common problem when installing the foot packs are loosening the straps properly to their full length.

In order to ensure you have released the strap to its fullest extent, you will want to insert the allen key into the foot pack and loosen the bolt all the way while pulling out on the strap until you have reach a point where metal bits are shown.
