Question:
I am picking up a trailer but dont know the coupler height and wont be able to find out before I pick it up. Its 2003 21foot kodiak scamper. I am picking it up with a 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Which hitch mount should I get?

Since you won't be able to determine the rise or drop you need ahead of time I recommend going with an adjustable ball mount on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline.
My choice is the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10040B. It provides up to either a 7 inch drop or 7-1/2 inch rise. It also has the feature to be flipped under the hitch and stored away while not in use. This keeps it out of the way when accessing the bed of your Ridgeline. It also keeps you legal because some states have outlawed driving with a ball mount in a hitch receiver while not towing.
For a standard pin and clip use # PC3. Or for a locking hitch pin use the Blue Ox # BX8858.
