The Lippert Components Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs - 8-1/2" Drop/Rise - 24" Wide - Quad - Aluminum # LC432698 is 28 inches at it widest at the mount. The mounting holes are 26-3/4 inches apart. The actual steps are 23-7/8 inches wide. I've attached some images to assist. If the opening is similar to most 5th wheel trailers, then the mounting frame is behind the opening and this set of steps will work.
