5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Compatible with Reese Revolution and 2017 Ford F-250 with Prep Package

Question:

I Just bought a 2017 Ford F250 Short bed. I have a Husky 5th wheel and just bought the cross member and Ford uprights for the Ford OEM 5th wheel. As I was reading the instructions it states that the uprights Husky should not be used with a Reese Revolution which I have on my 2016 Rockwood Ultra Lite 5th wheel. Is there another upright that would work or do I need to buy another hitch? thanks for your assistance

My guess is that the Husky hitch you have is a sliding hitch. A sliding fifth wheel hitch should not be used with a Reese Revolution or Sidewinder. With that being said it also shouldn't be necessary because your Revolution will give you more turning clearance than a sliding hitch. Plus, it's more convenient to use.

What you need is a fixed fifth wheel hitch that can be used with your Revolution. I recommend the B&W Companion # BWRVK3300. It fits directly into the puck system in your 2017 Ford F-250's bed and is compatible with the Revolution.
