Can Slider Hitch Be Used With Revolution Pin Box for Increased Turning Clearance?

I have a 2017 Ford 250 short bed and and an O and M Reese Revolution pin box with a Companion puck mounted hitch.Is there any advantage to getting a Companion slider? will I be able to turn even tighter?

On your 2017 Ford F-250 Short bed with B&W Companion hitch # BWRVK3300 and Revolution pin box, you have a great system. Although adding a slider like the Replacement Slider Base for B&W OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Ford Towing Prep Package # BWRVB3370 would increase your turning clearance but you wouldn't be able to utilize that clearance when on the road. You would still need to use the forward locked position for towing to put the weight of your trailer in the correct location. It is not recommended to use a Revolution or Sidwinder with a slider hitch.
If you choose to use the slider along with the Revolution pin box to increase turning capacity you will be outside of the manufacturers recommendations but it would technically increase your turning capacity by further moving the pivot point away from your cab that additional 12 inches. The unknown is how the additional weight and rotating turret would effect the torque on the hitch or pin box, so I can't recommend it.
