Question:
I need new hub assembly 4 on 4 but I have 13 inch tires. Everything I read says 8-12 inch tire max. Can I use 4 on 4 with 13 inch tires that I just got delivered? Difference in my hub assembly? Do I need something else?

We do have the Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly # 8-91-05UC1 that is compatible with 13 inch wheels. This has a 4 on 4 bolt pattern with a # L44649 inner and outer bearing. The hub assembly will fit 2,000 pound axles.
I recommend pulling the hub on your trailer to confirm the bearing numbers. These will be stamped onto the bearings themselves but you can also measure the trailer spindle if they cannot be found. I have attached an image that shows the measurements needed.
I have also attached an article on trailer hubs and bearings that you may find helpful.
