I do have a solution to carry your tandem bicycle, but using the Swagman RV Bumper 2 Bike Rack, part # S80501, to do so is not recommended.

I contacted our representative at Swagman and she informed me that it is not recommended to carry a tandem bicycle on the Swagman RV Bumper 2 Bike Rack, part # S80500. The reason it is not recommended is because of the length of the bike and how skinny and how close the arms of the bike rack are.

A possible solution to carry your tandem bicycle would be to use the Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier for 2 Inch Hitches or RV Bumpers, part # S64650-EXT, and the Replacement Wheel Hoops, part # P318. Using the replacement wheel hoops # P318 will allow for a bike with a longer wheel base to mount to the bike rack. With this setup, the maximum wheel base will be 66 inches which you will want to measure on your bike. To measure the wheel base, measure from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel.

If you have a spare tire on your RV, you will need to measure to make sure you will have sufficient clearance to mount the bike rack. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest wheel mount, using # P318 wheel mounts is approximately 9 inches.
