The Fulton Marine Grade Carpeting, 8" Wide x 144" Long # FCR8008 will help your trailer bunk boards support your boat and protect it from unnecessary scratches, but it won't necessarily help it to slide better than other marine carpeting.
If you are wanting an easy launch for your boat, I recommend using roller bunks. There are 4 or 5 foot lengths like the Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk - 5' Long Sections - 12 Sets of 3 Rollers # DL21741. These rollers will support your boat, keep it from scratches, and allow you a very smooth boat launch and landing. These roller bunks install very similar to regular bunk boards, but the movement of the rollers is a game changer. They are made of galvanized steel and rubber rollers and come in a set of 2.
I've linked all of our roller bunks for your convenience.
