Installation of Tekonsha Electric Brake Controller in a 2003 Dodge Dakota

Do you have any instructions or video available?? Is there an under dash quick connector available? THX

We don't have a video of a Tekonsha brake controller, like the P3 # 90195, being installed into a 2003 Dodge Dakota like yours but I've linked one of a 2009. This install also uses our # ETBC7 kit which you'll also need if your truck doesn't have a 7-way trailer connector already.

If your truck has a factory 7-way then there is a wiring harness # 3020-P that plugs in under the dash. If you don't have the factory 7-way the controller will be hardwired in. The # ETBC7 kit includes everything you'll need to install the controller as long as you already have a 4-way on the truck.

If you don't already have a 4-way connector use # 118329 which installs by plugging in to the factory wiring under the rear of the truck. I've linked a video of this install on a 2003 Dakota for you.
